I am a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Essex, Colchester, UK. I obtained my PhD from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, and subsequently carried out post-doctoral research at Leiden University, The Netherlands, and the University of Cambridge, UK. My research is focused on structural work of heme proteins using X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy.
