Ribosomal protein P1 (RPLP1) is one of the 3 phosphoproteins in the large 60S subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome. RPLP1 plays an important role in the elongation step of protein synthesis. RPLP1 makes a heterodimer with dimers of RPLP2.
