Agrin (Agr) is involved in the embryogenesis of the neuromuscular junction. It is involved in the aggregation of acetylcholine receptors. Its N-terminal domain NtA binds laminin. The C-terminal of Agr has 3 laminin binding domains (LMB): G1-G3. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative Agrin, i.e. the crystal structure of chicken Agrin (3i70).
