Crystal Structure of Ribosomal protein S24E from Thermoplasma acidophilum 2g1d
Ribosomal protein S24 (RPS24 in eukaryotes/archaea) is one of the ca. 33 proteins which belong to the small 40S subunit of the ribosome. It is found also in the small 30S subunit in archaea. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS24, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S24E from Thermoplasma acidophilum (2g1d).
