Introduction

CARDIAC ANKYRIN REPEAT PROTEIN; CARPbelongs to the conserved muscle ankyrin repeat protein (MARP) family, Also known as Ankrd1.MARP family consist of two more homologous members Ankyrin repeat domain containing protein 2 (Ankrd2) and Diabetes related ankyrin repeat protein DARP.
