EXPANSION OF THE GLYCOSYNTHASE REPERTOIRE TO PRODUCE DEFINED MANNO-OLIGOSACCHARIDES

Overview

Mutant endo-mannanases, in which the catalytic nucleophile has been, replaced, function as glycosynthases in the synthesis of, manno-oligosaccharides of defined lengths.

About this Structure

1ODZ is a [Single protein] structure of sequence from [Cellvibrio japonicus] with ZN, NA and TRS as [ligands]. Active as [Mannan endo-1,4-beta-mannosidase], with EC number [3.2.1.78]. Structure known Active Site: AC1. Full crystallographic information is available from [OCA].
