A digital object identifier (DOI) is a unique alphanumeric string assigned by a registration agency (the International DOI Foundation) to identify content and provide a persistent link to a journal article’s location on the Internet.
DOI in Proteopedia
A DOI is unique to an individual version of a Proteopedia page, and not all Proteopedia pages have a DOI assigned to it. When available, a DOI is the best way to reference your work in Proteopedia. Use the standard format doi:xxx/yyy/zzz
