Information on related structures is derived mainly from Protein Data Bank data.
Entries listed as Related can be ones which are in the same citation or they could be the same protein in different experiment conditions, etc., but not necessarily in the same citation or from the same authors. In general the authors provide the related entries and PDB normally do not update this category unless the author requests it or unless the PDB annotators identify that several entries belong to the same citation.
The provided list of related structures for a given entry is for guidance only, and should not be regarded as a complete or authoritative report.
