Yeast Ribosome based on Cryo-EM and RNA and Protein Homology Modeling
| |||||||
resolution 8.9Å (). ·· ·· ·· |
Atomic model of a eukaryotic ribosome obtained by combined cryo-EM and RNA and protein homology modeling. Specifically, cryo-EM reconstruction of the 80S ribosome from the thermophilic fungus Thermomyces lanuginosus was used as a guide guide for building homology models of the S. cerevisiae ribosomal proteins and rRNA sequences that fit the cryo-EM map. .
