mov
mov can be embedded: Proteopedia:Cookbook#Quicktime_.mov
mpeg
How do we put an mpeg movie in a Proteopedia page?
I successfully uploaded the mpeg file Image:FlagellarAssembly.mpeg
- The uploaded movie plays in an empty browser window: mpeg
- mpeg is a format recognized by Quicktime, therefore .mov applies
- See mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Quicktime
This doesn't work:
<embed src="/images/9/9c/FlagellarAssembly.mpeg" type="video/mpeg" loop="true" width="320" height="270" />
m4v
Quicktime (licensed) converted the .mpeg to .m4v for ipod.
Could not upload .m4v to Ppda.
