I teach advanced biology and biotechnology at North Marion High School in Florida. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology. I have 23 years of science teaching. I have interned in Dr. Ben Dunn's University of Florida biochemistry lab working with HIV protease. I have also had a short internship in Dr. Rob McKenna's lab. I am currently working with UF CPET (center for precollegiate education) under the supervision of Dr. Mary Jo Koroly, Julie Boker and Drew Joseph to write and test high school curriculum for a grant.
