Overview
Polyunsaturated fatty acid metabolism is governed primarily by two enzymes, prostaglandin H synthase and lipoxygenase. The crystal structure of the metastable product-oxidized purple form of soybean lipoxygenase-3 was determined at 2.0 A resolution.
