אנושי C ציטוכרום

ציטוכרום C הוא חלבון קטן (משקלו המולקולרי כ-12,000 דלטון) שמור מאוד לאורך האבולוציה ומצוי בצמחים, בבעלי חיים ובאורגניזמים חד-תאיים רבים. לחלבון קשורה קבוצת הם ובמרכזה אטום ברזל.
