Atomic model of a eukaryotic ribosome obtained by combined cryo-EM and RNA and protein homology modeling. Specifically, cryo-EM reconstruction of the 80S ribosome from the thermophilic fungus Thermomyces lanuginosus was used as a guide guide for building homology models of the S. cerevisiae ribosomal proteins and rRNA sequences that fit the cryo-EM map. .

About this Structure

This structure is a composite of 3 pdb files optimized for use online:
3jyx is a 3 chains structure of sequences from Thermomyces lanuginosus. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
3jyw is a 30 chains structure of sequences from Thermomyces lanuginosus. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
3jyv is a 19 chains structure of sequences from Thermomyces lanuginosus. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
