Crystal Structure of Ribosomal protein S27A from Thermoplasma acidophilum 2k4x
Ribosomal protein S27 (RPS27 in eukaryotes/archaea) is one of the ca. 33 proteins which belong to the small 40S subunit of the ribosome. It is found also in the small 30S subunit in archaea. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS27, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S27A from Thermoplasma acidophilum (2k4x).
