Ribosomal protein S5 (RPS5) is one of the 22 proteins which belong to the small subunit of the ribosome. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS4, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S5 from Thermus thermophilus (2zm6, chain E).
