DOPA Decarboxylase
DOPA decarboxylase (DDC, aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase, tryptophan decarboxylase, 5-hydroxytryptophan decarboxylase, AAAD) is responsible for the synthesis of dopamine and serotonin from L-DOPA and L-5- hydroxytryptophan, respectively.
