STRUCTURE OF PHOTOLYASE

Overview

The crystal structure at 1.8 A resolution of 8-HDF type photolyase from A. nidulans shows a backbone structure similar to that of MTHF type E. coli photolyase but reveals a completely different binding site for the light-harvesting cofactor.

About this Structure

1QNF is a Single protein structure of sequence from Synechococcus sp. with and as ligands. Active as Deoxyribodipyrimidine photo-lyase, with EC number 4.1.99.3 Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
