Crystal structure of an intracellular proteinase inhibitor (ipi, bsu11130) from bacillus subtilis at 2.61 A resolution
Function
[IPI_BACSU] Directly regulates the major intracellular proteinase (ISP-1) activity in vivo. Inhibits ISP-1 in the early stages of sporulation. It may be then inactivated by a membrane-bound proteinase.
About this Structure
3isy is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Bacillus subtilis. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
