Function
[PAC_BACSH] The enzyme catalyzes the conversion of penicillin to 6-aminopenicillanate The precursor, furthermore, acts as a self-processing peptidase that cleaves off the propeptide. All peptidase activity is lost on conversion to the mature peptidase.
