Function

[IIGP1_MOUSE] GTPase with low activity. Has higher affinity for GDP than for GTP. Plays a role in resistance to intracellular pathogens. Required for disruption of the parasitophorous vacuole formed following T.gondii infection and subsequent killing of the parasite.
