Ribosomal protein S16 (RPS16) is one of the 22 proteins which belong to the of the bacterial ribosome. It exhibits endonuclease activity. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS16, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S16 from Thermus thermophilus (2zm6, chain P).
