[MURE_THEMA] Catalyzes the addition of both L- and D-lysine to the nucleotide precursor UDP-N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanyl-D-glutamate (UMAG) in the biosynthesis of bacterial cell-wall peptidoglycan.
