Retinoblastoma-binding protein (RBBP) are nuclear proteins implicated in the regulation of transcription and differentiation by the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein. RBBP1 regulates transcriptional activity. RBBP2 demethylates histone H3 at lysine 4. RBBP5 is involved in methylation and dimethylation of histone H3. RBBP9 blocks the binding of retinoblastoma protein to one of its signaling partners.
