Crystal Structure of Barstar complex with amino tryptophan 2hxx
Barstar (BST) is an inhibitor synthesized and secreted by the bacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. It binds to the ribonuclease barnase (BA) very tightly and prevents it from digestion of the cell’s RNA.
