Function

Casein kinase (CK) is a protein kinase which functions as regulators of signal transduction.

  • CK1 is a serine/threonine kinase with several members: α, β1, γ1, γ2, γ3, δ and ε.
  • CK2 functions in cell cycle control, DNA repair and circadian rhythm regulation.
