This frog can swim really fast in all directions. It is legal to own this frog in Canada and Ohio. Unfortunately, this frog is commonly infected by parasites. The African Clawed Frog is the only amphibian that uses claws to climb and shred food.

Significance

This protein is significant because it is a nucleosome, allowing DNA to be put into higher order structures. With this complex, DNA can be stored in a highly compact manner. DNA coils around the histones, and then the nucleosomes coil around to form the chromatosome, which then fold up on each other to form a chromosome.
