The description of this disease states that it is a form of a hereditary generalized amyloidosis. It is clinically featured including extensive visceral amyloid deposits, renal amyloidosis resulting in nephrotic syndrome, arterial hypertension, hepatosplenomegaly, cholestasis, and petechial skin rash.
