Esterification

Esterification is a chemical reaction of an acid with an alcohol (R'OH) to form an ester (RCOOR'). Usually esterification refers to reaction between an organic (carboxylic) acid (RCOOH) with an alcohol (R'OH) to form an ester (RCOOR') and water.
