On the image, you can see the backbone of the structure, (faintly colored), the amino acids, (in the center and brightly colored), and the ligands ADP and other ions floating around the molecule. The protein seems to play an important role in the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. Scientist are trying to understand the process better to manipulate its metabolism and create better antibiotics The protein seems to mostly be active in gram-positive bacteria
