Dynactin

Function

Dynactin (DCTN) is a multi-subunit protein which modulates the binding of dynein to cell organelles which are to be transported along microtubules.^[1] See also CAP-Gly domain.

Disease

Mutant dynactin was found in motor neuron disease.^[2]
