This page reports problems Eric Martz encountered when he tested https://proteopedia.openfox.io/w/Special:RequestAccount on December 24, 2025:
This would be an improvement over Old Proteopedia: Real name should need to be entered only ONCE. If ALL UPPER CASE, that should generate an error "Please capitalize your name properly." The name entered once should be automatically put into the top of the User page such as "* Eric Martz".
ATTEMPT I
1. I requested an account for Erick Martzz, email same as that for my real account Eric Martz. I should have gotten an error message prohibiting me from using the email address of an existing account, but I got none.
2. The form textarea labeled "Personal Biography" should be labeled "Required Information:".
3. The form texarea that should be labeled "Required Information:" is blank, but should contain the same as "Required Information" at https://proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/Special:RequestAccount
4. After I completed the form and clicked the button [Request Account], my browser returned to the empty form with no acknowledgement that my request was submitted.
5. I did not receive an email requesting me to confirm my email address.
6. https://proteopedia.openfox.io/wiki/index.php?title=Special:ConfirmAccounts/authors&wpShowHeld=0 did NOT show my application for Erick Martzz.

- I requested an account for Erik März with an email address that I have never used for Proteopedia.
- As in the previous attempt, I got no acknowledgement, no email to confirm my address, and my request did not appear in the queue at https://proteopedia.openfox.io/wiki/index.php?title=Special:ConfirmAccounts/authors&wpShowHeld=0
