I am a senior lecturer in chemistry at the Open University, UK, and currently the Director for the Molecular Sciences award. Author of several books including Solid State Chemistry: an introduction by L E Smart and E A Moore (CRC Press, 2002), and Alcohol and Human Health (ed) L Smart(Oxford University Press, 2007).
