Clathrin terminal domain complexed with pitstop 2

Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 21816279

Disease

[CLH1_HUMAN] Translocation renal cell carcinoma;Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor.

Function

[CLH1_HUMAN] Clathrin is the major protein of the polyhedral coat of coated pits and vesicles. Two different adapter protein complexes link the clathrin lattice either to the plasma membrane or to the trans-Golgi network.

About this Structure

4g55 is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Human. This structure supersedes the now removed PDB entry 2xzh. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
