Ribosomal protein S12
From Proteopedia
Ribosomal protein S12 (RPS12) is one of the 22 proteins which belong to the small subunit of the bacterial ribosome. It is involved in the translation initiation step. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS12, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S12 from Thermus thermophilus (2zm6, chain L).
