• The above images were produced by FirstGlance in Jmol version 4.0, release expected June, 2022, using Solid in the Views tab.
• 2e0z is a virus-like particle from Pyrococcus furiosus. It was automatically simplified to every 2nd alpha carbon. It is composed of 180 sequence-identical protein chains. Its diameter is about 380 Å.
• 7LGH is a bacteriophage Q Beta particle. It was automatically simplified to alpha carbons. It is composed of 132 sequence-identical protein chains. Its larger diameter is about 275 Å.
• "N->C Rainbow" color scheme:
