This is a protein existing in gram negative bacteria. There are 3 subunits, alpha-, beta-, and gamma-subunit. Alpha-subunits has HEM inside, which thought to be a important site for electron transport.
The gamma-subunit has thio-ether bonds, which has never seen in other protein before. This bond is composed of S from CYS and C from GLU or ASP and is thought to be necessary for the structure.
