Solution structure of latherin

Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 19478940

Function

[LATH_HORSE] Major protein in sweat, has surfactant properties. Has a role in temperature regulation by having a capacity to make hydrophobic surfaces wettable and so can function in promoting spreading and evaporation of sweat.[1]

About this Structure

3zpm is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Equus caballus. Full experimental information is available from OCA.
