Owner and PI at Blum-Scientific Services, doing contract R&D in the field of CBRN protection. Main focus is on enzymatic technologies for the detoxification of chemical and biological warfare agents. Located in Munich, Germany. I have obtained my Ph.D.in biochemistry from the University of Frankfurt where Prof. Heinz Rüterjans was my advisor. Previously I studied chemistry at the Technical University of Braunschweig, the Humboldt University in Berlin and the University of Birmingham, UK. Since December 2009 I also hold an M.A. in War Studies from King's College London.
