Function
Beta-hydroxyacyl-acyl carrier protein (ACP) dehydratase (FabZ) catalyzes the dehydration of short and long chained β-hydroxyacyl-ACPs. FabA exhibits broad overlapping activity to FabZ and is most active in dehydrating midlength chained β-hydroxyacyl-ACPs.
