Structure of lumazine protein, an optical transponder of luminescent bacteria

Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 18602927

Function

[LUXP_PHOLE] Antenna protein that modulates the color of the bioluminescence emission of the luciferase. In the presence of LumP, luciferase emission is shifted to higher energy values (shorter wavelength).

About this Structure

3ddy is a 1 chain structure with sequence from "photobacterium_leiognathi_subsp._leiognathi"_(boisvert_et_al._1967)_ast_and_dunlap_2004 "photobacterium leiognathi subsp. leiognathi" (boisvert et al. 1967) ast and dunlap 2004. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
