Crystal structure of apo 3-nitro-tyrosine tRNA synthetase (5B) in the closed form

Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 24611875

Function

[SYY_METJA] Catalyzes the attachment of tyrosine to tRNA(Tyr) in a two-step reaction: tyrosine is first activated by ATP to form Tyr-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of tRNA(Tyr).[1]

About this Structure

4nd7 is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Metja. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
