Retinoblastoma-binding protein
From Proteopedia
Retinoblastoma-binding protein (RBBP) are nuclear proteins implicated in the regulation of transcription and differentiation by the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein.
- RBBP1 regulates transcriptional activity.
- RBBP2 demethylates histone H3 at lysine 4.
- RBBP5 is involved in methylation and dimethylation of histone H3.
- RBBP9 blocks the binding of retinoblastoma protein to one of its signaling partners.
