Dethiobiotin synthetase

Dethiobiotin synthetase (DTBS) catalyzes the first ring closure in the biotin synthesis. The reaction transforms 7,8-diaminononanoate (DAN), ATP and CO2 to dethiobiotin (DTB), ADP and phosphate.
