Formyl-CoA transferase

Function

Formyl-CoA transferase (FCT) catalyzes the conversion of formyl-CoA and oxalate to formate and oxalyl-CoA. FCT takes part in the oxalate degradation pathway^[1].

Structural highlights

FCT structure shows . The large domain is composed of residues from the N-terminal and the C-terminal. The active site binds CoA and oxalate ^[2].
