From Proteopedia
Nawaprin is a snake toxin from the Naja nigricollis (black-necked spitting cobra). By similarity, Nawaprin damages membranes of susceptible bacteria and does not inhibit the proteinases elastase and cathepsin G (for more, go to Uniprot here). For toxins in Proteopedia see Toxins.
