Function
[CRVP_PROFL] Blocks contraction of smooth muscle elicited by high potassium-induced depolarization (PubMed:12047379). May target voltage-gated calcium channels (Cav) on smooth muscle.[1] [MSMB2_PROFL] May serve as a self-defense protein against the toxic effects of the snake venom during accidental envenomation. Does not show inhibitory activity towards brevilysin H6.
