Function
[TBCB_ARATH] Involved in control of cell division. Regulates probably the availability of alpha-tubulin for dimerization of alpha-/beta-tubulin, which is required for proper microtubule biogenesis. Decreased expression of TFCB results in enlarged mesophyll cells and leaf epidermal cells with bulged nuclei, increased ploidy and increased numbers of spindles and phragmoplasts.[1]
