Microtubule_associated serine/threonine kinase (MAST) belongs to a family of proteins which contain a serine/threonine kinase domain and a PDZ domain.
MAST1 associates with the cytoskeleton and can bind through its PDZ domain both β-2-synthrophin and neuronal nitric oxide synthase. MAST2 regulates
lipopolysaccharide-induced IL-12 synthesis.
