Atorvastatin

Atorvastatin, commercially known as Lipitor is a 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl-CoA reductase (HMG-CoA Reductase) inhibitor. It is part of a class of medications known as statins that are cholesterol-lowering medications[1] .
